WOLF CLAN
With this game I had a lot of problems with the coding and I could not understand why some things worked while others did not, so I know its kind of unplayable but I wanted to focus more on everything else.
People would play my game as it would be engaging each time, even if you play the same level as there will be hidden collectable all over, some more difficult than others, this will also act as a way for the levels to get harder rather than making jumps almost impossible and such, this way it is still child friendly, in a way that it will still be playable for them. It would be addicting as they would want to feel accomplished and to do that all the collectable would need to be collected meaning they would have to replay certain levels to find this. Since everyone likes to feel accomplished, I thought of adding in the inability to go back like in Mario, or I would add in places that once you go over you cant go back, like a save point in the level. It doesn’t get boring hopefully since you get to explore the mansion and the different rooms within, another would be the obstacles and detours, this means your experience could be slightly different each time.
The main goals are to finish the game by getting the pup back from the hunters, collecting all the collectables if you are someone who has to complete a game fully, the main collectables are wolf coins, and wolf gems(kind of like a wolf gemstone that I have seen and would like to own), there would only be three of them within each level, compared to the coins which could be found everywhere.
A few things that the player would need to do and complete would be lifts, buttons, wall jumping, platforms two different kinds, they would have to find out the difference between the two otherwise when they would step on the platform they would fall off since they wouldn’t be moving with it.
When manipulating the unity puzzle workshops for my level design, I thought about combining the moving platform with a wall jump this way you would have to jump at the right time to the wall jump before the platform moves back down, I wanted to make this moving platform go up and down rather than side ways to make it different from others.
